Welcome to Cheshire Waterlife’s website - a place we hope you will return again and again.

We are open 7 days a week and our store opening times can be seen on the right. For purchasers of aquariums and other aquarium dry goods we have an Aquarium Supermarket online store for ordering and delivery to your own doorstep rather than having to travel to our store.

For livestock you must visit our store for everything fish, invertebrete, plant and coral. We have an extensive livestock both cold, tropical and marine. We replenish every week so check-out our current livestock. Call 01606 882223 if you are looking for something specific and we will endeavour to source on your behalf.

We have established this site as an ever-expanding resource for aquarists where information can be sought, where fish and animal stock lists are accessible and updated weekly. Look out for our posts on various aspects of fish keeping and check out our reptile care sheets that can be downloaded to provide good basic information to enable you to keep your animals properly.

You will also be able to use our stock lists to determine whether a visit is worthwhile and to see how they change on a weekly basis. We list only fish that are in stock and ready to go, feeding in all cases, and are good if not excellent examples of their species.

Cheshire Waterlife may have a reputation in the industry as a “marine specialist” but our background includes a great deal of experience in tropical freshwater and pond fish. We have designed and built filtered koi pond systems to over 130,000 litres which afford low maintenance for the aquarist whilst providing exquisite water quality for the fish.

Our tropical fish section is small and yet contains many special community fish. Many species are sourced from captive bred stocks wherever possible and we have been supplying Public Aquaria such as the one at Chester Zoo for a number of years with the best in captive bred livestock.
