Welcome to Cheshire Waterlife’s website - a place we hope you will return again and again.

We have established it as an ever-expanding resource for aquarists where information can be sought, where fish and animal stock lists are accessible and updated weekly. We will also be posting plenty of information on various aspects of fish keeping and reptile care sheets that can be downloaded to provide good basic information to enable you to keep your animals properly.

You will also be able to use our stock lists to determine whether a visit is worthwhile and to see how they change on a weekly basis. We list only fish that are in stock and ready to go, feeding in all cases, and are good if not excellent examples of their species.

Cheshire Waterlife may have a reputation in the industry as a “marine specialist” but our background includes a great deal of experience in tropical freshwater and pond fish. We have designed and built filtered koi pond systems to over 130,000 litres which afford low maintenance for the aquarist whilst providing exquisite water quality for the fish.

Our tropical fish section is small and yet contains many special community fish. Many species are sourced from captive bred stocks wherever possible and we have been supplying Public Aquaria such as the one at Chester Zoo for a number of years with the best in captive bred livestock.
