A wonderful species of true angelfish
that can undergo the trasnformation from juvenile
to adult colouration when relatively small.
Adults can be as little as 4cm long when the
transition is complete. Commonly kept in reef
aquaria, where its occasional nibbles are often
overlooked by aquarists, this species is a firm
favourite.
Often
shy and retiring,
particularly when
first stocked, settled
individuals increase
in confidence and
will evnetually dominate
an
aquarium if conditions
suit and tankmates
allow.
