A beautiful dwarf angelfish and
one that will do well in most aquaria given
the provision of a good amount of green foodstuffs
(dried algae) in its varied diet. In common
with other members of the genus Centropyge it
may not be entirely trustworthy with sessile
invertebrates- in particular nibbling at large
polyp stony corals such as Trachyphyllia and
Lobophyllia.
In
a system that is
home to plenty of
soft corals they
are rarely problematic-
at least not to invertebrates
but the domineering
personality of the
dwarf angelfish may
come
to the fore with
respect to its tankmates.
