A beautiful dwarf angelfish that
is entirely black unlike the similar C.multispinnis
and C. flavicauda.. Initially painfully
shy this fish will settle well into most live
rock based aquaria.
Rarely
problemmatic in reef
systems its wonderful
shape and deep, deep
black
pigment, reminsiscent
of velvet makes it
a wonderful fish
to care for. It will
accept dried algae
and brine shrimp
quite readily once
settled.
Small
individuals may benefit
from
the addition of
small particulate
diets
such as Cyclop-Eeze
until they can
grow large enough
to tackle
a
full mysis shrimp!!
