Burgess's Butterflyfish

Chaetodon burgessi

Profile notes:

A lesser known species of butterflyfish but one that is more readily available than you might think. In the right context- a polyp free, soft coral dominated aquarium, this species can have a role in the control of the nusiance anemone Aiptasia, although it is more likley to keep them restricted in terms of spreading and / or expanding rather than eradicate them.

Related to the far more expensive Tinker's and DeCleve's butterflyfish this should be a robust species in the home aquarium although it does to to fare best in live rock based systems.
