This
beautiful anemonefish
is sporadically
available from wild
sourced stocks
but also through
captive bred supplies.
Although the juvenile
colours of tank rasied
fish may
appear insipid at
first, resembling
a ginger-cinnamon
colour, once settled
into a live rock
based
fish only or reef
aquarium the colours
darken and the result
is a very spectacular,
very beautiful
fish indeed.
The
white pigment against
an almost black
background is stunning.
Prices can vary
but captive bred
fish compare very
favourably with
their wild counterparts
and are unlikely
to develop any problems
such as Brooklynella
protozoan parasites.
They are always
eager to
feed too!
