This Caribbean species of damselfish
belonging to the genus Chromis is sporadically
available. This species grows larger than the
green chromis (C.viridis) something the aquarist
should be aware of prior to purchase.
They
are relatively easy
to care for readily
accepting
a variety of different
foodstuffs but they
can be territorial
and show intraspecific
aggression
so use care when
stocking a group.
