The goldrush tang is a wonderful
species of bristletooth- not exactly a "new"
species but available to the hobby only relatively
recently. It is highly useful in a cleaning
context with reef and live rock based aquaria.
Available from 2cm upwards this
species should prove to be robust in the long
term but aquarists need to make sure that they
are both feeding and have significant weight
as skinny specimens are hard to rehabilitate.
Feed small particulate diets in
addition to providing algae.
