Male fairy wrasse are amongst
the most colourful of all marine fish available
in the hobby. In contrast the females and juveniles
are more drab in colour- often a single colour
is present.
Fairy
wrasse are usually
a complete pleasure
to keep in the home
aquarium- their
pelagic behaviour
and active swimming
immediately endears
them to aquarists.
The only down side
is their tendency
to leap from uncovered
aquaria.
The exquisite is
amongst the hardiest
and most readily
available of all
fairy wrasse species.
