These stunning fish are available
only sporadically.They are not true blennies
and are instead known as tubeblennies and are
represented in the hobby by only a handful of
species. They lack a promiment lateral line-
visible in true blennies- and have a relatively
large mouth which enables them to opportunistically
grab planktonic organisms of a wide range of
sizes from the water column.
Provide
plenty of hiding
places - love rock
usually has several
suitable holes or
crevices- and feed
meaty foods
such as enriched
brine shrimp or mysis.
